Key Words and Phrases on Resumes

Think of a resume as a living and breathing document. It should be updated when there are relevant changes in your skills, experience, education or objective. Each time you make changes in your resume, you should also explore the current trends on developing a resume.

Currently, Employers look at what type of keywords or key phrases are used. Keywords make a statement, but key phrases support the claim.
For example, “increased sales” are keywords. “Increased sales by 35%” is a key phrase. Incorporating keywords and key phrases into resume demonstrates to the prospective employer not only what you did but backs it up by example.
