Pam was referred to the Sutter County One Stop by Sutter County Probation after being out of the workforce for some time. Determined to re-enter the job market, she worked closely with her Business Workforce Specialist to develop a strong resume and enhance her presentation skills.
 
Despite her diligent job search, Pam faced challenges and had not received any job offers. To help her gain recent work experience and ease her transition, she was placed in a work experience position. Pam excelled in this role, showcasing her skills and dedication. However, due to budget constraints, the company was unable to offer her a permanent position.
 
Undeterred by this setback and some personal challenges, Pam remained resilient. She received an excellent recommendation from the business, which bolstered her confidence. With renewed determination, she resumed her job search.
 
Pam soon found a position that was a perfect fit for her skills and the hands-on work she was seeking. She is thrilled with her new job, where she can effectively apply her talents. We are excited for Pam and wish her continued success in her future endeavors. It has been a pleasure working with you, Pam!

Initially, Dillion struggled with motivation and follow-through. Yet, he discovered that his Workforce Specialist saw his potential and believed in his ability to succeed. With dedicated support in refining his job search strategies and interview skills, Dillion gradually built the confidence he needed.
 
Through perseverance and guidance, Dillion secured employment and has since achieved a stable and fulfilling life. Today, he proudly lives independently with his son, a testament to his hard work and newfound self-belief.
